Our Policy

To provide quality service that involves the clinical analysis of body   fluids and other substances that would lead to the prevention,   diagnosis and treatment of diseases and diseased conditions of   patients.

Our automated Atac 8000 and 6000 assist us to maintain and reach the highest standards in clinical chemistry. This coupled with the vast experience of our staff has kept us as the leading medical laboratory in the country.
In this department we perform the common assays that determine how the body's organs function. Some of these include the complete Lipid profile (Total Cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterols, VLDL, Triglycerides, and the Risk ratio). The Liver Function and Kidney function tests. The electrolytes and also an important part of these      tests.
Fasting is required whenever monitoring the lipid profiles and it is suggested that one fasts for about
12 hours prior to taking the test. A sip of water is allowed but nothing else by mouth should be taken.      This is important because if food is taken it tends to alter the readings of the values, hence erroneous       results can be had.
A complete report is usually given at the end of the same day when the tests are taken.
In an effort to enhance the quality of out testing, “Eureka” participates in regular Proficiency testing       schemes. The results are usually quite satisfactory.
Listed below are some of our Clinical Chemistry tests….
